Christopher Nolan: Will he show up at IIT Bombay or not?

Tell me one soul who did not get excited when they got to hear about Christopher Nolan coming to IIT Bombay?

I mean you would hardly find a Movie Buff who hasn't seen at least one of these if not all!

• Batman begins(2005) 
• The Dark Knight(2008)
• The Dark Knight Rises(2012)
• Inception(2010)
• The Prestige(2006)

And the rest being Insomnia and Momento(which are yet to be watched by me)

This guy has changed how movies are made and created a benchmark for the other directors about how a superhero action movie should be made(I am no film critic but I hardly think the majority would disagree with this!).

And We get to hear that the very same guy is gonna come down to IITB this decemeber?

Am I dreaming?

But.

You got quickly disheartened by hearing that it was all made up and he probably wont be coming to the event when December 28th comes.

So the question is. Is he coming or not ?

then there were other reports too. most prominent one was by Hollywood Reporter.

then the story started reaching its high point around this time when a journalist tweeted this after contacting Nolan's rep

then this will be like an anti climax if it proves out to be true, by the same journalist who tweeted the above screenshot.

And here is the Mood Indigo's reply

Now you would think that this movie is over right? I mean Nolan not coming to IITB. Just a major blunder?

My Two cents.

Publicity stunt? Yes! Agreed, but will the largest college fest in Asia, with the most likes on its Facebook page do such a thing knowing what impact it would  create on its image. 

But NO!! Its not over yet!
I mean how can it be? Its Christopher Nolan for crying out loud! 

According to a very reliable insider info he indeed is coming to Mood Indigo. By this post they have cut out the people who were coming only for this specific event. And when he comes to the fest controllable crowd will be present. Can you imagine a person like Nolan and an event which was the no. 1 India trend on twitter inside a small college campus. Hell even the Mumbai police wouldn't have managed it, let alone the students. And also as we all know that Nolan is not a big fan of media events. He just wants a small discussion not a public event.
To back it up I can only speculate about the fact that when Aamir Khan turned up last year, there was a lathicharge. 

Nothing will clear up until the Mood Indigo festival in December.

So lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that IITB lives up to its word and we get to have a chance to meet none other than the great Christopher Nolan!
